Another school year is approaching...
TIME FLIES. Wow!
Looking back to my last post, it's been a looong time since I've checked in. Two years of Covid interruptions and, of course, last school year where all NS teachers were mandated an extra course to teach with no extra time or compensation...
Long story short, after 30 years in the business, teaching is more demanding than it ever has been. The extras are lost in the reality of trying to deliver the basics.
Google Classroom has taken over for teacher websites, and ALTHOUGH I love to share the cool things (pics) my students and I have been working on, advertising workshops I've organized, posting art opportunities, etc., a redundancy with the digital Classroom format forces me to make a choice.
Trying to make the best of the 'classroom' I'm given through face-to-face, while maintaining a clear and transparent record through good ol' Google for my students and their parents is where I'm at.
