November is crazy busy!!
Lunch hours next week will be holiday card production for our fundraiser during parent/teacher interviews. Class time will allow for acrylic paintings to be completed for the silent auction portion of our fundraiser.
I need at least 2 students each p/t session to sell and collect $$, 2 for the afternoon and two for the evening. See me if you're interested...
Wed., Nov 6th is our AGNS trip. Be ready in the lobby for 9:20. Permission slips should be in for Monday., Nov. 4th.
Wed., Nov 27th is our Clay Cafe trip. Start researching and working on your design savvy now in your sketchbook for that experience.
Stay tuned for student selection for a PAINTS silk-screening skills workshop to train students for the big ArtsSmarts installation second semester. Be part of something huge at HWHS

Your PAINTS workshop is Monday and Tuesday, November 4th and 5th with local artist Nicole Rahim. Start brainstorming 'creature' sketches as you will have an opportunity to build 3-d felted 'beings' next week. Be on time for classes and be creative ;)

To all interested OPEN ART STUDIO is back on track for a week now. ANYONE interested in making art at lunch or just hanging out in a creative environment, B327 (Ms. Perry's room) is open every Tuesday and Thursday lunch. Bring your lunch and join us ;)

My latest educational update has been achieving my Diploma in Educational technology through C.B.U. I am interested in finding innovative ways to incorporate technology into the curriculum, as well as maintaining a love of traditional art practices.
