DeGarthe Art Scholarship for 2016: Please see Ms. Perry in B327 for details for this scholarship. Applicants must be completing their final year in a Nova Scotia high school and, upon successful completion of high school courses, have signified an intent to continue their studies in Fine Arts in a duly recognized program (or setting) of higher learning in the school year following award of the scholarship. The deGarthe Art Scholarship is funded through a trust fund set up by Agnes deGarthe, wife of the late well-known painter and sculptor, William E.deGarthe of Peggy’s Cove, and is administered by a committee of educators and specialists set up by the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development. The application form with complete art work must be submitted by April 15, 2016.
