A little patch and prime, some sanding and the world is our oyster!
Our schedule is moving along and 75 + students are working on this massive install that is a collaborative effort between the Visual Arts and the Oceans courses at our school. Lots of screen-printing, plaster casting, ocean creature research, taping, drawing, materials exploration, design and planning has been going on in B327 every Wednesday and Thursday morning this month. We are installing our pieces of the visual puzzle Saturday, May 31st and are planning to 'open' our art lab/hallway on Wed., June 4th! The beginning of the process but we finally get to touch the walls- YES! A little patch and prime, some sanding and the world is our oyster! Students working on the pieces and 'assembly of' for the Ocean Creatures Wall design... The responsible adults; Rosemarie Perry (Visual Arts teacher), Tim Kennedy (Oceans teacher), and Melissa Marr (ArtsSmarts artist and install guru) Having a moment... ;0)
